www.acconeer.com
What we do at Acconeer
Acconeer is a young company listed on Nasdaq First North developing a 60 GHz/mmW pulsed coherent radar based on research from Lund University. The Acconeer radar sensor combines extremely low power consumption with sub-mm distance estimation accuracy. It opens for detection of micro-motion, objects’ direction estimation, material classification, human breathing measurement and much more, all within a sensor sized 5x5 mm including antennas. Acconeer is located in Lund at Ideon Gateway and we are currently a group of around 40 people with high R&D focus, working closely together over the R&D disciplines - hardware, software and algorithm research and development.
We are looking for a team member to our growing ASIC team!
You will work with analog ASIC design for our next generation of radar sensors. As an analog designer at Acconeer you will be part of the ASIC team who has responsibility transforming the specifications to hardware. You will participate in all phases including system modelling, circuit design in Cadence, layout, top-level integration, validation, production test, yield optimization, and customer questions. To be successful and enjoy working at Acconeer we see that you truly enjoy being an electrical engineer. You love to learn new things and are not scared of challenges. In some areas you will possess the most knowledge and in some you need to learn from other individuals and perform tasks in their areas. Experience from Cadence Virtuoso and confidence with its basic features is however a must. You will work with LNA’s, mixers, VCO’s, PLL’s, bandgaps, LDO’s, PA’s, amplifiers, filters etc. Instead of being an expert of any particular circuit we value a broad knowledge, preferably including software. Our validation environment is written in Python and our SW is written in C so experience from these languages is a great plus. You have a science/engineering Master’s degree and you speak English fluently. The way of working varies depending on the task, sometimes you need to define your own methods and sometimes, you follow predefined processes. As we expand the ASIC team, we value persons with insights in development methodology, quality, and a structured way of working.
