What we do at Acconeer
Acconeer is a young and innovative company listed on Nasdaq First North developing a 60 GHz/mmW pulsed coherent radar based on research from Lund University. The Acconeer radar sensor combines extremely low power consumption with sub-mm distance estimation accuracy. It opens for detection of micro-motion, objects’ direction estimation, material classification, human breathing measurement and much more, all within a sensor sized 5x5 mm including antennas.
We are currently a group of around 50 people with high R&D focus and great spirit based in Västra Hamnen in Malmö, working closely together over the R&D disciplines - hardware, software, system and algorithm research and development. We have a large and growing international customer base in the consumer, industrial and automotive segments.
We are looking for an Analog ASIC Designer to our growing ASIC team!
You will work in a team of highly skilled engineers with varied backgrounds and experience, developing the core of our radar sensor. Our ASIC team includes analog and digital ASIC designers as well as SW developers that work with validation, production test and lowest level of SW. You will work in all ASIC development phases including requirement break down, system modelling, circuit design, layout, top-level integration and simulation. When the chip comes back from manufacturing you will be involved in validation, production test, yield optimization and customer questions.
We believe that you have some years of experience in analog ASIC design and have done a couple of tape-outs. You are skilled in the Cadence design flow and extraction tools like Calibre or PVS. Our full 60 GHz radar system is built on a single CMOS die including LNAs, mixers, VCOs, PLLs, bandgaps, LDOs, PAs, amplifiers, filters etc. Your focus will be the low frequency parts. Experience of combining analog and digital design on the same die is appreciated. Knowledge from RFIC design as well as designing ASICs for automotive products is also valuable. Our validation environment is written in Python and our SW in C so experience from these languages is a great plus. You have a science/engineering Master’s or PhD degree and you speak English fluently.
The way of working varies depending on the task, sometimes you need to define your own methods and sometimes, you follow predefined processes. As we expand the ASIC team, we value persons with insights in development methodology, quality, and a structured way of working.
Who we are at Acconeer

As we are a small company with open minded employees it is always easy to discuss with people outside your team to satisfy your hunger for knowledge.
We love working in a scaleup where we have real possibilities to influence both the product and the ways of working. We get to work with cutting edge technology in close collaboration with our colleagues. If you feel the same way about teamwork and amazing technology, we´d love to meet you!
Please send your application to info@acconeer.com. We will evaluate applications continuously. For questions, contact recruiting manager Per Odénius at +46 706 90 73 02.
