About us
The engineering departments for the Electrical Propulsion Systems are responsible to design and deliver Electrical Drive Systems, Battery Systems, Power Supply and Charging Systems for electrified vehicles. Our group 97550 is responsible for system verification of the Traction Battery System.
If you are looking for a new position within VCC which would offer you a variety of tasks, support your initiatives and gives you an opportunity to work out on the field, then we are the right team for you!
We are 17 happy engineers, including one Team Manager, one Product Owner and two Scrum Masters, divided into two teams working with:
* SOx & Thermal System Verification
* Measurements, Communication and System Safety Verification
As an Analysis and Verification engineer in one of these teams, your work will be very varied as you will work in HIL- and battery laboratory environment running both manual tests and developing automatic tests, as well as working with test vehicles. Therefore, we are searching for a person who is outgoing and flexible. Occasional travelling is to expect on this position since expeditions will take place around Sweden and abroad.
What you will do
Daily work will be combination of diverse tasks such as:
* Develop current and new test methods for the traction battery focusing on System Safety
* Continuously develop working process and procedures
* Deliver test results in a structured way, perform analysis, and propose improvements
* Perform sanity checks, Go/NoGo and I/O tests of complete software delivery
Due to your work diversity, you will collaborate with different departments, such as design and software integration teams for the traction battery.
You and your skills
We believe you are an outgoing person, problem solver and last, but not least, enjoy working in a team and have close collaboration with others. You prefer to be structured and organized, but at the same time flexible and prepared for instant changes. You strive for good collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
* Preferable education for this position is master’s degree in electrical engineering or mechatronics, or bachelor’s degree with several years of relevant experience
* Knowledge and experience of working according to ISO26262
* Knowledge in high voltage systems, electrical safety, and electrical architecture
* Experience of SW-testing
* Experience of using Electra, INCA and Canalyzer.
* Driving license B, valid in EU is necessary
* Fluent in English, written and spoken
* ISTQB certification meritorious.
