What do we offer?
PQ at Volvo Car Group is fully responsible for leading and developing the complete vehicle within the attribute area and we have a strong focus on customer needs. The challenge consists of developing, defining and communicating requirements that reflects the expectations and needs of our current and future customers. We are a part of Vehicle Tophat and consists four sub attributes (Geometry & Appearance, Material Quality, Illumination and Paint & Surface Finish).

What you’ll do?
We are now looking for a dedicated engineer/lighting analyst who can support the sub attribute Illumination for several projects. Illumination has a strong impact on the quality impression of the car and clear link to Scandinavian design. New lighting technology is becoming available on the market enabling lights to be more integrated in the car interior and exterior creating atmosphere and effects. We are looking for someone with strong technical competence and high personal energy.
You are going to be part of a small but dedicated team that secures our deliveries.                    
   The work contains of leading the work regarding visualization and analyzes for the sub attribute within the specific project(s) to secure the requirements and requirement levels and to support the overall development of the area. Your work will include specifications of technical requirements, analysis, verification, method within the attribute area Illumination. The work includes dialogue with attributes, project teams and ART teams and possible dialogue with suppliers. You will also participate in advanced research assignments.
Do you fit the profile?
We are looking for a person that has previous work experience within the area of light and lighting design together with knowledge in Lighting design program e.g. SPEOS, VRED, Unity. You have a B.Sc. degree in Engineering and B-driving license.
You pay attention to details, take responsibility and enjoy working towards agreed goals. To raise issues and to challenge old truths is one of your advantages. You have a positive attitude, are open minded and good collaborative skills.
You possess great communication- and argumentation skills and are a true self starter and a character of initiatives. You have good analytical skills
