Analysis Engineer - Additive Manufacturing

The section Pilot Plant & Concept Centre at Test Object Operations is responsible for manufacturing test objects in concept phase and for pre-series production. The section is also responsible for the development process for Additive Manufacturing (AM) colloquially called 3D printing, an area where the development and adoption is considerably moving forward fast, which put high demands on comprehensive and efficient verification processes.
The management group PP & CC is leading these activities and are looking for a dedicated Analysis Engineer who wants to be a part of developing the safest possible cars. You will perform measurements, conduct analyses and give recommendations in the field of AM. Your daily work will be in our AM centre for Additive Manufacturing. You are also expected to cooperate with other teams and project management in current and future research projects to develop new test methods, test objects, automate tests and execute the verification needed for quality products with world class technology.
Main responsibilities
* Test and verification in virtual and physical environments
* Designing test methods and automated test and tools, virtual and physical
* Take part in and strategic plan test activities
* Take part in function requirement design and analysis of function requirements as well as customer requirements
* Analysis and benchmark of competitors
* Support Advanced Engineering activities
* Write test reports and present progress reports in vehicle projects when applicable
* Be a part of the future innovations
* Develop design methodologies
Required qualifications
* M.Sc. degree within Engineering and Mechanical, Industrial design or equivalent
* Experience in development, verification, and analysis of embedded functions
* Experience from design for additive manufacturing
* Experience in Math lab programming
* Excellent knowledge in MS office programs
* Drivers license B, valid in Sweden and Europe
* Fluent in English and, written and spoken
* Knowledge in Swedish is meritorious
* Automotive experience is meritorious
* Knowledge of tools and concepts within the automotive industry such as: CAD and optimisation tools is meritorious
