What’s in it for you?
Our unit, Safe Vehicle Automation, consist of around 600 skilled engineers who are responsible for everything from research and advanced engineering, to implementation, verification and validation of current and future customer offers in the area of Safety, Vehicle control and Autonomous Drive. Within our Agile Release Train (ART) Active Safety Functions, we develop functions such as Collision Avoidance, Automatic Parking and Driver Support. We develop and integrate functionality and SW into a complete product, making use of sensor input such as radar, camera, ultrasonic and lidar, that build a comprehensive perception of the car’s surroundings.

What you’ll do
You will be working as a Function Verification Engineer in the team responsible for the Driver Assistance and Connected Safety functionality. The team is responsible for the customer function and system design, including responsibility for the verification of the functions. Your will be verifying the customer functions, testing requirements for attributes, user experience and performance. The team is responsible for the whole verification chain from integration to attributes, so you will use both virtual environments and vehicles in your verification work. You will also take responsibility for test method development and connect the virtual function testing to the Continuous Integration chain. You will collaborate closely with the design engineers and the sensor platform teams, to align functionality to sensor performance and ensure connection to the cloud. You will also work together with the suppliers to ensure the best functionality, and continuously be part of the development and testing of the function and attributes. As we are responsible for the user experience, you will work with the UX/HMI teams to get the user interaction just right.
Do you fit the profile?
We believe that you have a drive to learn continuously and are flexible to broaden your experience. You have a BCs or MSc in Electrical Engineering, Automation and Control, Automotive or similar. You possess a few years of experience in function and/or system verification on different abstraction levels. You are happy to share your knowledge and are enthusiastic in helping your colleagues to improve their competence in this area. In the role as a Function Verification Engineer you will be an active member in a scrum team, so having experience from working agile is an advantage. Finally, you are fluent in English, spoken and written, and have a Swedish driver’s license (B).
