Job description:
As analysis engineer you will be working with electrical propulsion systems for one of our customers within the automotive sector. You will be working with development of hybrid and electrical systems and sub systems, such as batteries, electrical drives, power supplies and chargers. You will be responsible for mechanical development including thermodynamics within electrical propulsion systems. You will be responsible for breaking down system requirements to component level and developing specifications for thermal interface. You will also be responsible to create, prepare and release technical documentation and to specify test types and define measurement data. You have an active role in analyzing thermal battery components as well as system and vehicle tests. You will work in close collaboration with climate, cooling and software departments regarding interfaces and be responsible for coordinating and performing 1-d thermal simulations.

Your profile:
We think that you are a collaboration oriented and responsive person with a high level of service and a passionate interest in technology. You have good analytical skills, proficient skills in Matlab and experience from electrical propulsion systems. Previous experience of thermodynamic simulations is meritorious. Our customers and commitments put strong demands on your technical skills as well as your interpersonal skills. You are able act independently and take initiatives and have an excellent English language level, verbally and in writing. You should also be a good listener and have strong communication skills. You have an ease of understanding new data, are used to seek information and are not afraid to handle contacts with customers and their suppliers.

Qualifications:
- M.Sc. Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Focus area: thermo- & fluid dynamics
- Experience of electrical propulsion systems
- Work experience in the thermodynamic field is meritorious
- Proficient skills in Matlab and Fluent
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
