Analyst – Finance BP Commercial

Orica Sweden AB is seeking a Financial Analyst for its Gyttorp location outside Örebro.

The Financial Analyst will be accountable for conducting and documenting financial analysis related to annual budgets, operating results, forecasts and business decisions for an international business environment. Partners with and provides in-depth analysis to leaders to drive profitability improvements.

Main Responsibilities;
· Take the initiative and drive forecasting, budgeting, financial planning / modeling, metrics reporting, and annual operating budget development.
· Lead financial analysis on business operations such as revenue and cost performances against prior comparable periods including understanding drivers of change, cost variance analysis, and providing analysis of areas of challenges and opportunities.
· Be instrumental in month end reporting, driving results for Nordics business and pushing financials to the EMEA head office in London.
· Deliver and manage complex financial modelling, manage and understand cost, ensuring proper controls are in place for executive level reporting.
· Support the field operations with capital expenditure analysis and contract profitability management.
· Implement corporate internal controls to protect assets and Orica’s financial position.

Experience & Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related fields.
· 3-5 years accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· MBA/CPA Preferred.
· Financial Planning and Analysis experience and general accounting knowledge as it relates to month end close analysis.
· Experience in SAP Hana/4S modules.
· Ability to communicate and work in a team environment, but also ability to pursue tasks on own initiative.
· Analytical/Commercial mindset, curious and comfortable with challenging stakeholders in the business.
· Good attention to detail with ability to prioritize various ongoing daily tasks and high priority situations to maximize efficiency.
