Analyst - Product Controlling

We are looking for an Analyst in the role of a business partner to the Manager of Product Portfolio development in the Business Line Advanced Materials. The position owner will drive value stream and value-growth-oriented steering in Business Line Advanced Materials (BLAM) by end-to-end analytics, insights and advices to ensure successful realization of the product-oriented growth strategy of the Business Line.
Your role:
Support Product Portfolio Management with relevant insights on product profitability and value generation
Describe, analyze and provide insights on primary value streams to support Business Line steering in alignment to the business model of Advanced Materials
Ensure end-to-end focus by overseeing value streams from supplier over processing to customer, from costs over profit to value creation
Analyze route to markets and drive optimal loading of bottleneck assets to maximize value generation
Provide transparency to operations cost and quality performance from product perspective and support Operations Controller in performance management
Support Sales in market and customer research to define customer value generation with our products to drive optimal price determination
Develop sustainability analysis and reporting for BLAM products to support the green product strategy of Outokumpu
Forecast product profitability to enable foresightful value stream management
Develop of intuitive dashboards for self service reporting and analytics to provide insights on product profitability to wide range of stakeholders
Support development and implementation of modern analytical technologies and methods to drive forward looking steering of the Business Line based on reliable forecasts and business scenarios

About you:
University degree in Finance or Data Analytics
3-5 yrs. experience in business controlling or as data analyst
Ability to translate business needs into analytics/reporting requirements to support executive decisions and workflows with required information
Data mining experience and data warehouse techniques preferable
Analytical skills, Hands-on, resourceful, results-oriented, proactive and responsive
Highly energetic, dedicated, learner, strong work ethic
Business fluent in English in speech and writing
