Job Summary:
The Operations Analyst have a broad field of responsibilities in respect of optimal aircraft galley loading of the retail offer by Gateretail.
Through periodic assortments changes and ongoing adjustments optimal load plans and are created based on defined input parameters.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• At assortment changes optimize the available aircraft galley space based on analytics and statistic modelling
• Analyse/plan/decide size and type of load plan
• Analyse/plan/decide time duration for each load plan
• Analyse/plan/decide optimal number of aircraft touches (citypair loadings, All day loading, 2 or 3 day loadings)
• Test packing exercise at assortment changes
• Pipeline calculations
• Create load plans (I.e. on board consumption, on board sales, pre order, fresh food)
• Distribute load plans externally and internally
• Connect load plans to traffic schedule (in IBOS)
• Analyse consumption data and do relevant ongoing changes to match on board demands
• Gather and analyse relevant input with potential impact on load plans (i.e. cabin report, account team meetings)
• Compile weekly and monthly KPI reports
• Set up and maintain relevant processes from external partners/suppliers
• Manage and answer deviation reports from customer
• Participate in external account meetings (aligned with Key Account Manager)
• Manage ad hoc load plans at unforeseen traffic deviations
• Participate in internal account/process and project meetings
• Participate in project groups relevant for load planning and implementations of new customers
• If time permits, proof read on board catalogues
• Other relevant tasks that can be handled by the department, such as but not limited to invoice control
Qualifications
Education:
High School degree or other relevant secondary education
Work Experience:
5-7 years relevant experience in the airline industry, from working with space management, or other relevant data analytics and statistics. Detailed knowledge of aircraft galley space and limitations will be an advantage
Technical Skills:
General user of MS office and ERP systems
Documented advanced user of Excel
Language / Communication Skills:
Swedish
Business English
Other languages will be an advantage
Personal skills
Analytic and business oriented mind-set
Focus on the details without losing the overview
