We are now looking for a replacement for one of our analytical chemists working in Research and Development projects. This is a permanent position based in Uppsala within Analytical Chemistry which is part of Research.
As an analytical chemist within Research you will support the development of new products with characterization and development of new analytical procedures.

Your responsibilities will include:
•Develop and validate analytical test procedures using techniques as HPLC and SEC
•Apply and verify pharmacopeia procedures for raw materials
•Analyze products, intermediates and raw materials within projects.
•Take part in the purchase of new equipments
•Transfer of procedures to the Quality Control department
•Compile reports to be included in regulatory submissions
•Represent Analytical Chemistry in interdisciplinary project teams

•You have several years of experience of working with chemical or physical analysis of medical device or drugs. Experience of working according to GMP is a merit.
•You have experience in pharmacopeia methods and are used to work with quantitative analytical procedures.
•You hold a degree in analytical chemistry
•You are open-minded, flexible and enjoy working with others in a collaborative way
•You have documented experience in writing English scientific reports and understand written and spoken Swedish
•You are innovative and structured with a strong focus on delivery.
