Camurus provides innovative nanoscale drug-delivery systems for the development of new and improved pharmaceuticals.Our advanced solutions range from long-acting injections to lipid nanocarriers designed for oral and transdermal delivery.These are used in own drug development programs as well as in partnership with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies worldwide.Headquartered at Ideon Science Park in Lund, Sweden, in the heart of Medicon Valley, Camurus maintains close ties with academic institutions and contract research organizations around the globe.In the current expansion we are looking to strengthen the organization with Analytical Chemist Job Summary: Camurus is seeking a qualified and motivated Analytical Chemist to strengthen our analytical team and assist with performance of bio-analytical and pharmaceutical services in research and development projects and programs.The work also involves developing, qualifying, implementing, and transferring analytical techniques and methods for internal and/or external use.Most of the analysis is performed using immunoassay techniques, particularly ELISA, and HPLC.Other responsibilities may include structural elucidation of unknown impurities and degradation products, analytical support of process and formulation development, and release and stability testing of drug products intended to be used in clinical and/or toxicology studies.We want you who have: An analytical chemistry or similar university degree Experience of qualitative and quantitative analyses of pharmaceuticals using immunoassays (ELISA) and HPLC with UV/diode array detection Experience from analysis of biological drug substances such as peptides and proteins Efficient in documenting and writing reports for internal and external use Willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, team-oriented environment Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Swedish Computer experience, especially from the programs Ms Word and Ms Excel We would prefer that you have been working in compliance with cGMP/GLP and other regulatory requirements such as the ICH guidelines.Experience from method development/optimization of immunological methods is a further merit.
