To our Research and Development department at our manufacturing site in Karlskoga, we are building up new competence within the field of ICP/MS and are looking for an Analytical Chemists to support the development and manufacturing of API:s and intermediates in development phase of API manufacturing.
As an Analytical Chemist you get to perform a large variety of analytical tasks for the development, validation and transfer of analytical methods, mainly focusing on
ICP-MS. You will be part of building up the facilities around the instrumentation, the position will also cover training of other chemists in this technique.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, validate, transfer and troubleshoot analytical methods for various stages in the production processes. This may include methods for API:s, raw materials, intermediates as well as in-process testing methods.
- Actively participate in team efforts and contribute to technical evaluations and solutions.
- Maintain and meet the highest standards in quality, customer service and regulatory compliance.
- Implement routines for ICP-MS and train other chemists in the use of ICP-MS.
Qualifications
Ph.D. in Chemistry or related field, alternatively M. Sc. with 4-5 years of experience is preferred. Specialization of analysis using ICP-MS is a requirement.
The ideal candidate would have the ability to both work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team sometimes with direct customer contacts, be self-motivated and have a positive attitude. Further on, ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies is desirable.
