To our Analytics & AI division, we are looking for a passionate, results-oriented Analytics Architect who can play a critical role in setting up world class analytics transformation roadmap.

What you’ll do
You will mostly be working with our Tech Leads, Cloud Architects and Solutions Providers to make sure that the demands of the day to day need from Analytics architecture are met in general. You will be giving tips and best practices to the team, and you will be responsible to design the solution and lay down scalable, secure and durable end-2-end analytics architecture for a hybrid cloud solution. You will be helping the cloud team for maintaining the accounts and proposing cost effective, secure solutions for Telenor products and applications. Supporting the overall Analytics and AI department needs for big data and future analytics stack is also going to be a part of your role.

As an Analytics Architect, some of your responsibilities will be to:
* Define and document the technical architecture of the different end2end analytics components, including the physical components and their functionality
* Evaluate, select, test, and optimize hardware and software analytics products
* Assess current technical architecture, identifying different needs to scale to a future target architecture with modern technologies in Analytics
* Write specifications for client machines, application servers, database servers, and networks
* Deliver solid plans for capacity, technical architecture documents, hardware and software product recommendations and their cost estimates
* Conduct regular performance and capacity planning audits.
* Architect/operate solutions build on hybrid AWS enterprise environments with strong understanding of data lake concepts
* You will enjoy keeping your existing technical skills honed and developing new ones, so you can make strong contributions to deep architecture discussions
* Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals to enable them to be cloud advocates

Who are you
In order to succeed in this position, we believe you should be self-motivated with a proven track record in operationalizing analytics in large enterprises. You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, products, and technical challenges. We are looking for candidates who are comfortable at the intersection of technology and business. The Analytics Architect is a very technical role which means that you must be broadly competent across many areas of technology (infrastructure, security, DevOps, databases, application development, analytics). On the business side, the ability to connect technology with measurable business value is critical. A typical day will involve a lot of interaction with several internal stakeholders and team members to find the most suitable and fundamentally reliable solution and work towards the team goal.

We believe the below skills are important in order for you to thrive and succeed in the role:
Technical degree required; Computer Science or Engineering preferred
* At least 5-7 years relevant work experience with AWS Cloud Technologies
* 4-5+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience with distributed applications or Analytics architecture
* Understanding on AdTech, MarTech, Big Data tools and general BI/DWH concepts is required
* Experience and understanding of data technologies and patterns for cloud environments including both public and private cloud deployments
* Experience with ETLs and tools, experience with Talend is a plus
* Excellent communication skills with an ability to right level conversations
