This role is based in NYC and will report into the Head of Licensing Finance. There will be occasional travel to our headquarters in Stockholm and other regional offices.

What you’ll do:
Play a leadership role for the data team by driving the development of new and existing models and analytics tools, and helping set focus, strategy, and priorities across multiple data projects
Contribute to the strategic leadership of the broader Licensing Finance team
Communicate data-driven insights and recommendations to key stakeholders at the Director, VP, and Executive levels
Work closely with cross-functional teams comprised of business owners, analysis experts, data scientists, engineers, and others across the Company who are passionate about Spotify’s success

What you bring:
7+ years of relevant applied experience with a Bachelor’s degree or higher in economics, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field. People management experience is preferred
Technical competence and coding skills (Python, SQL, Pandas). Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is preferred
Experience coaching team members in advanced analytics, visualization techniques, and automation tooling using large and complex datasets
Experience operating “end to end” on data projects. This includes gathering requirements, prototyping and testing, building light-weight front ends, and working with engineers toward productization
Familiarity with designing data processes that satisfy ITGC requirements
Ability to plan, scope, and deliver an insights-based agenda to support business decision-making.
Strong storytelling and communication skills, with a passion for building relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders
