Hays is now looking for an Android developer to work at a major actor in the energy sector!

The App Team at major actor in the energy sector is looking for a new Android developer to work with their customer facing mobile application. The role will be a central part in one of the company's ongoing projects and maintenance of current applications. It is expected that the candidate can be onboarded quickly, moreover, have a good understanding and extended experience of Android development and an agile way of working. The candidate should be excellent in communication and team work. It is also expected that the candidate can work from our Malmö office 4 days a week.

All of our work is a team effort, therefore it is essential to be a team player that can handle the social and political environment of a large company. The roadmap for this project is already set, therefore we are looking for someone that can get things done. It is also crucial that the person in this role values communication and sees the benefits it can bring to a team. The Web Team puts great value in feedback, meaning that the candidate for this role should be both open to receive and give feedback.

Skills
* At least 5 years of experience in Android app development
* Good knowledge of Kotlin
* Good knowledge of Java
* Strong experience in Jetpack Compose
* Ability to produce clean, readable, and testable code
* Experience in Unit Testing
* Strong experience in version control with Git
* Collaborative, positive attitude and enjoys working in a demanding, exciting, and dynamic environment
