Within AFRY, we develop and deliver solutions for vehicles, systems, functions and attributes to customers in the automotive industry. Our customers are both established OEM’s, startup companies and system suppliers (Tier 1). We operate all over the world; mainly in Sweden, China, Brazil, US and UK.
We are in the exciting process of creating an Agile team within Android/C++/Linux developers!
In the role you will be part of a team that develops the infotainment systems of the future. You will join a team with valuable knowledge from all infotainment domains. The daily work includes Android development with end to end responsibility including design, architecture, documentation, implementation and automated tested case. The team will use the latest tools and technologies available and collaborate with UX, partners and other stakeholders to define and deliver coherent end-to-end solutions.
Within AFRY Automotive R&D, we develop and deliver solutions for vehicles, systems, functions As a consultant at AFRY, you get a variety of work. You can either work at one of our local customers or be in our office and work in our exciting projects together with other AFRY colleagues.
We are now looking for three different roles:
Android C++ Linux, Development Engineers
As C++ developer you have programming skills and will support the organization creating code that realize the product requirements. You have experience working in a Linux environment. You have experience of using Continuous Integration tools / methods. You will be part of a team implementing a complete feature for the infotainment system, spanning from software development in application and native layers of Android stack which includes hardware abstraction layer in C++.
Android C++, Architect /System Engineers
As a System Engineer you have SW architecture knowledge. You have ability to guide others regarding SW architecture and C++/ Java programming. You have experience to understand how new requirements would affect the architecture. You have experience in modern app architectural patterns (MVP, MVVM, layered architecture, refactoring).You work closely with Function Owners, System Engineers and Test Engineers to analyze design and requirements for implementation.
Android C++, Test Engineer
As a Test Engineer you will take part in Android system requirements analysis and development of test methods. You will develop automated unit or integration test in C++/Java or Python.You will also develop, define and prepare automated test environment as well as test objects for the different levels to test e.g. vehicle, function, system and component.

Who are you?
You have a BSc /MSc in computer science or similar, combined with at least 4 years of experience from med-tech, telecom, automotive or aviation.
Your core competence is mainly within one or many of following areas:

Knowledge in Android developmentExperience in Java, C ++ or PythonKnowledge in Linux development
Knowledge in GIT, Gerrit, Jenkins
Knowledge in SW test methods, including automate unit test and integration test.
Knowledge in SW architecture development
Knowledge as Scrum Master or tech lead.
Experience in communication with Product Owners to understand requirements and how these can be transferred into code.

You speak and write fluently in English.
