Antenna System at Ericsson Lindholmen is a part of Ericsson’s global radio development organization. We’ve a strong focus on advanced antenna system (AAS) for 5G and the LTE evolution. We’re engaged in antenna systemization for overall system performance as well as for products and solutions. We’re working with antenna partners & vendors to drive and secure antenna technology and development. We’re also involved in antenna verification technologies and methods for over the air testing of advanced/active antenna systems and antenna integrated products.
We’re now looking for antenna developer with great interest in antenna system and/or antenna design to strengthen our team.
Job description
As an antenna developer, you will be a member of a team that is developing the next generation of advance antenna system. You will participate in antenna development for our own products and solutions. You will perform technical investigations, contribute to the evolution of our product portfolio, participate in pre-development projects as well as in technical studies and follow the developments in antenna systems. As our projects are frequently realized in cooperation with external partners, and you will have many opportunities for international contacts.
Responsibilities

Perform trouble shooting and customer support
Work with continuous improvements of products and processes
Develop competence in technical domain
Qualifications
We are looking for a result-oriented antenna developer and team worker with strong customer focus. You have strong analytical skills and you are a fast learner. You have high interest in the field of antenna systems and advanced antenna system functionalities for cellular radio networks. We find the following important for this position:
Education: Bachelor or Master’s degree in electrical engineering, communications engineering or equivalent
Extensive knowledge of antenna systems and/or antenna products
Extensive knowledge of Matlab’s more advanced functionality
Good knowledge in HFSS and ADS design/simulation tools
Good understanding of cellular radio networks
Good knowledge in Radio/RF/antenna technologies and products
Ability to work in a global cross-functional and network-oriented organization and teams
Innovating, adapting and responding to change
Excellent written and oral communications skills
