As our Anti-Cheat Community Analyst, you’ll spend your days monitoring data, making fair and informed decisions, and keeping our community of players up-to-date on the ever-changing challenge of ensuring our games are fair for all. You are an active part of the community and a beacon of our dedication and continuous journey to make sure THE FINALS and ARC Raiders are safe and fun places for competitive play.
You’ll also work closely with the Security team and other stakeholders at Embark Studios in taking action against cheaters and providing valuable business and threat intelligence. You’ll use your game and community experience for engaging our players and to maintain a high level of integrity and accountability.
Example of responsibilities
- Use internal and 3rd party anti-cheats tools and capabilities to support the Security team in taking action against cheaters
- Conduct player account investigations
- Conduct and/or lead investigations relating to [other] user violations, unauthorized transactions, infringements, phishing schemes etc.
- Assist CS in the management of in-game reports for player misconduct
- Compile detailed reports on the current state of cheating and threats
- Support the wider Production and Gameplay teams
- Be a key stakeholder in the decision-making for future Security and anti-cheat strategies
It would be awesome if you have
- Previous experience in game security and strong awareness of cheating methods
- Excellent teamwork and stakeholder management skills
- Up-to date knowledge and experience in security and anti-cheat tooling
- Hands-on experience with anti-cheat in a competitive environment, understanding the ecosystems and motivations
- Familiarity with tools like SQL and Big Query is a big plus
