What we offer
Volvo Cars Compliance & Ethics team provide advice and support to the business units and other staff functions at Volvo Cars globally. We handle/are responsible for essentially all areas of Compliance & Ethics: Anti-corruption, Anti-competitive behaviour, Data Protection, Trade Sanctions as well as other Code of Conduct related matters.
We are now looking for an engaged specialist with an expert knowledge within the Compliance & Ethics area, in particular anti-corruption and third-party due diligence. The successful candidate will be based in our headquarters in Göteborg, Sweden.

In this role you will particularly be involved in (i) the regular risk assessments of Volvo Cars´ risks related to the code of conduct, (ii) the performance of third party due diligence, (iii) our continuous awareness and training programmes and, if you have the right profile (iv) various matters in other areas of the Compliance & Ethics field, such as data protection.
Do you fit the profile?
You are preferably a lawyer and/or a person with a wide experience in the fields of anti-corruption and third-party due diligence. In your professional life, you have carried a proven ability to communicate clearly and manage projects. You have a high level of business acumen and are attentive to details, while able to “operationalize” anti-corruption related issues and anticipate/solve related challenges.
You will of course be a team player with a proactive and customer-oriented mindset and with an ability to provide high-quality advice sometimes in complex situations and often under time pressure. Defining and solving complicated problems that require careful analysis and good judgement is something you are good at and thrive on. You are able to translate our Compliance & Ethics programs into actions that deliver business value and drive change.
