About us
Anybus® is the world’s leading brand for industrial communication and is developed by HMS Networks. The Anybus Business Unit in Halmstad develops and mark ets the Anybus products which are then delivered to the market by HMS Market Units around the world. We are now looking for a Product Marketing Director to take the helm of our marketing communication activities and make the Anybus brand even better known to the market.
About the position
The Product Marketing Director is a key player in our continued growth journey, building the product brand strategy. Millions of robots, drives, engines, air-conditioners and other equipment use HMS solutions to communicate and share information. The result is increased productivity and sustainability.
In order to successfully translate the brand strategy into efficient marketing campaigns, you will collaborate closely with the Product Management team, lead the Anybus marketing team and interact with Global Marketing and commercial digitalization teams. In addition, you will work with our go-to-market organizations, Market Units, around the world to build an understanding, engagement and commitment in the Anybus strategy. You are part of the management team of Business unit Anybus and report to the Business Unit’s General Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, execute and review the brand strategy and marketing plan for Business Unit Anybus
• Market intelligence – building expertise on our customer groups and their personas
• Understand, engage, and leverage our Market Units go-to-market capabilities including Direct Sales, Channels and Partners, for commercial success
• Understand the competitive landscape and positioning for Business Unit Anybus
• Create annual global brand and marketing plans, based on brand and market analysis
• Plan the strategy of activities and campaigns for existing and new products
• Act as the primary thought leader for product marketing internally and externally including speaking engagements and marketing collateral
• Annual planning process including budget and KPI´s
Although your role is primarily strategic, while building up the marketing department, you will also need to dig in and work with the creative such as press releases, website content, brochures.
About you
You are up to date with the latest technologies and the future of marketing. You conduct market and brand analyses to understand our customers’ and end users’ behavior and define key insights that guide the development of the marketing strategies. You will know our competitors like the back of your hand: what they do today and what they plan to do in the future. This isn’t guesswork, though you back up strategic insights with market evidence and then use that knowledge to drive the development of positioning and messaging that resonates with buyers and empowers our sales channels to be successful. You ensure great collaboration between product managers and sales teams, and you can easily align with our core values: We put Heart, Mind and Soul into what we do.
Key Requirements
• Several years of product marketing experience preferably within the field of Industrial Automation, with creation of sales tools, executing keynote speeches and presentations to customers or leads
• Experience in conducting competitor analyses and market research
• Insights in, or willing to learn, trends within industrial communication such as cyber security, OPC UA
• Very familiar with tools such as Marketing Automation 365 and Google analytics as well as networking tools such as Linked-In and Twitter
• Exceptional ROI-tracking skills, able to prove what is or is not working
• Strong public speaker. Comfortable in front of large or senior groups as well as small teams.
• Excellent leadership, people and management skills to interact internally across HMS, and externally.
• A degree in business or marketing
• Experience from Pragmatic Marketing (Pragmatic Institute) is a plus
