AP/AR Accountant

We are looking for an AP/AR Accountant to join our Finance team!

Job Summary:

Our new AP/AR superstar will play a huge role in our continuous growth journey and in maintaining and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all our stakeholders, both internally and externally. We are a service function and to us, accuracy and service are key. You will be part of the accounting team, working closely with the teams of GL, ERP, FP&A, and Treasury so your understanding of all financial aspects is very valuable and will be key for the successful candidate. You will report to the Director of Accounting.

As an AP/AR Accountant, you are maintaining up-to-date and accurate records of daily transactions in accounts payable and accounts receivables. You are the point of contact for AP and AR related questions within the organization and work closely with team colleagues to develop the AP and AR processes.

Responsibilities:

Responsibility for the global accounts payable end-to-end process for multiple entities within the group (making sure all incoming invoices are complete for processing incl. registration of invoices, with accurate coding)

Customer invoicing and credit memos

Dunning procedure

Managing sales orders

Support to internal and external stakeholders

Prepare account reconciliations in month-end closings and journal entries

Incoming and outgoing payments

Prepare and execute Self-billing for music creators and ambassadors

Royalty payouts

Identify and drive system improvements with support from the ERP team (Oracle Netsuite)

Contribute to team OKRs

Stay up to date with trends and best practices within the field

Requirements:

Ideally, you have 2+ years of experience and a keen interest in both AP and AR, with an understanding of P&L. You are a problem solver with an outstanding ability to plan and prioritize your work. You have the ability to work efficiently and see ways of improvement. Furthermore, you are not afraid to dig in when needed and you bring energy and drive to the team.

Ability to work with high efficiency and best practice in mind

Analytical skills

Outstanding communication skills in written and spoken English (and Swedish)

Proficient in Excel / Word / Gsuite
