AP/AR Improvement Specialist Santander Consumer Bank, Norway

We are now looking for a highly motivated new team member to a cross Nordic team responsible for Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable (AP/AR). In this role you will be joining a team of specialists that are working, both together and individually, to fulfill the goals set for the team, department, and the bank.
As the Improvement Specialist you will support the AP/AR department and other areas of the bank in internal and external projects, initiatives, and process changes. You will represent the team as an expert on related systems. You are expected to challenge existing processes and actively work to automate manual tasks based on the prioritization for the department. You will be required to work closely with the Nordic teams on all levels in developing and improving as efficiently as possible. You have a general advanced technical understanding of the banks systems and can use this competence to come up with new ways to continuously improve.
Main activities
AP/AR Process specialist.
Extracting information from the data warehouse using SQL.
Being able to use code to optimize the use of Adra Accounts.
Understand Robotization and be able to assess the possibilities that lie within this area.
Develop test plans for AR and help AR specialists with system upgrades.
Follow up system issues/changes requests towards IT.
Help the AR team with complex cases.
Increase quality in the reconciliation process.
Deliver projects and Initiatives on time and scope as specified in the business proposal.
Develop user manuals, training materials and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation and turnover of the process/system to the team and/or other functions/employees.



Experience and skills
+2 years relevant work experience, preferably within finance or IT
Experience from Adra Accounts, PowerBI, SQL (advantage)
Experience from CoreView and/or Way4
Good Excel skills
Fluent in written and oral English

Education
Preferably Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or IT (may be substituted by relevant experience)
