APC (Advanced Process Control) Engineer

Location: Sweden - Stenungsund
We provide solutions for a better tomorrow and are now looking for a talented engineer to strengthen our development team in the Cracker plant.
As our APC Engineer you will contribute to better profit, safety and efficiency, and support our operators getting the most out of our plant. You will be building and improving calculations and models for supervisory control applications. These control applications play a key role in pushing our plant to its limits and thereby maximising production, profit and energy efficiency. Together with our team of experienced APC engineers, you will participate in the execution of APC projects for the Stenungsund Cracker. You will contribute to strategic planning and optimisation on plant level by developing and maintaining APC, which will improve plant profit ant HSE&Q.
As our new APC engineer your work will include:
Data analysis and model identification
Developing and improving Advanced Process Control solutions
Maintaining existing APC, such as multivariable controller and real time optimisation applications
Developing operator interface
Tuning applications and process control functions
Promoting Advanced Process Control as a key component in Borealis Digitalisation

About you
You are the right candidate for us if you have M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering, Automation and/or Process Control and are fluent in verbal and written English and Swedish. As a person, you can analyse, structure and solve problems. You are communicative and enjoy working thoroughly.
Experience and interest in these topics are meritorious:
Multivariable process control
DCS and basic process control
Process modelling and simulation tools
Operator interfaces, HMI
Honeywell control systems
Aspen IP21, DMC, SAPC and RTO
