Application and Implementation Specialist

BT EUROPE has implemented a mutual ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system in fourteen sales companies and a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system covering seven additional sales companies. Our use of these business systems is under continual development and our intention is to take further steps in creation of mutual business processes and, through the use of new technological architecture, to facilitate new solutions for both internal and external users. Therefore we need to reinforce our organisation by recruiting an application specialist and an implementation specialist for the order management area. The main mission will be support development and maintenance work of the order management area in countries across Europe and the IT solution to support them. Your job: You will be working on the borderline between our business processes, IS/IT and our suppliers. The Application specialist will coordinate, organise and take responsibility for development and maintenance of Information Systems (IS). The Implementation Specialist role has an emphasis on implementing business systems in the organisation through initiated projects, such as upgrading the ERP system throughout Europe. Overall assignment: . To support the business process development in general and to secure that applications are working and being used in the best way . Together with IS Coordinators, Application Area Responsible and Technical responsible develop the business process of order management. Specifically for the Application specialist . Develop usage of existing Information Systems within actual process, including standards, rules and policies . Co-ordinate, organise and take responsibility for the development and maintenance of information systems (IS), needed in the order management process Specifically for the Implementation specialist . Be responsible for the successful implementation of the Order Management business process in identified projects. . Coach and train local Key users, configure the Business system, perform test and validation. Your profile: The development of future IS/IT solutions in an international company appeals to you. You have an academic background, work experience and a strong desire to continually improve your knowledge of business processes and IS/IT support. You read and write English proficiently and regard travel as a natural and inspiring part of your work. We regard a command of other languages as an asset; a deeper understanding and competence of business ERP (in particular) / MRP and CRM systems like Movex, CM and Product Configurators to be an advantage.
