Description

The client within the banking sector is now looking for an Application Designer for a multi-year project that will put in place a new solution that supports digitised sales and automatic billing.

The first subproject will deliver support for Global Custody. As part of billing, the solution needs to act as a subledger and update the general ledger with accounting events for issued bills and payment status updates.

You have a good understanding of double entry accounting, so you can lead the work with designing a subledger, a subsystem that bridges the gap between the billing solution and the general ledger.

The main delivery is a working subledger. You will work together with billing business specialists, solution developers, testers and representatives from the general ledger as well the supplier of the billing solution.

Mandatory competence and experience:

- Double entry accounting
- Solution design
- Relational database solution design


Preferred competence and experience:

- PostGreSQL
- Project management
- Requirements specification
- File communication
