Application Developer

Arbetsbeskrivning

An award-winning work environment, with industry-leading products and opportunities to work abroad - that's what we at SICK can offer! We produce and develop software in sensor technology that is used in various industries worldwide.

As an Application Developer at SICK, you will be part of a self-organized team that consists of both business developers and application developers as well as a group manager. In total, the team consists of twelve people and there is a good cohesion with opportunities to both give and gain knowledge from each other. You will work a lot with your team but also independently to solve the tasks, and you will develop in your role and learn new things on a daily basis.

In the role as an Application Developer with us, you will have the chance to:

• Develop new applications for 2D and 3D cameras
• Product training by producing materials and implement training courses
• Support customers and sales companies all over the world to help them succeed with their applications.

Who are you?
To fit the role, we believe that you have a Master of Science degree, preferably with a specialization in signal and image processing. If you have a different specialization, we prefer if you have at least two years of work experience in the field. You should have good programming skills and it would be absolutely SICK if you have knowledge in:

• C#
• C++
• Python
• Lua
• Or why not optics, graphics, electronics design, UX or analysis of measurement systems?

As a person, you are a curious team player who sees solutions rather than problems and you are fluent in both Swedish and English.

SICK as an employer
A big advantage of working at SICK is that you will be part of a work culture with the benefits of a small company, whilst you at the same time are part of a worldwide group. The opportunities at SICK are many and there is a high level of competence in the organization. This is why you will most likely develop both in your work role and on a personal level. You will also help and contribute to a better world environment. This is because SICK, with its world-leading products, can optimize and ensure that the earth's resources and raw materials are used in the best possible way!
