Role mission & context:
We are looking for a Software Engineer that will join our international team responsible for systems supporting users on production sites over the world. The main responsibility of the solutions is to support Internal Logistics flow within the plants. The coming years we will see a lot of changes, new technology, new ways of hosting applications, new ways of distributing and using data. Focus areas are automation in all aspects, frequent deploys, testing, security and making data more accessible. The team consists of people with end-to-end knowledge of the process we support.
You will be working with Development, Implementation and Maintenance of these applications, using .NET and Angular technologies. We are using SCRUM as the way of working within the team and you will be working both with team members in Sweden as well as in India.
Responsibilities:
Develop and test features according to the requirements, using appointed tools and technologies, keeping in mind quality, cost, and timeline.
Coordinate and cooperate with multiple stakeholders like Business Analysts, Architects, other developers, Solution leaders and Delivery Managers.
Actively participate during requirements collection and system analysis phase, along with Business Analysts and Architect.
Work with low level design and impact analysis to introduce new changes.
Follow all coding/testing guidelines and best practices.
Build, release, and deploy on test environments.
Branching from and merging to version control systems like TFS and GIT
Contribution towards test automation.
Support implementations/Rollouts of new features in BV and Production environments
Support and fix production issues.
Your Profile:
Bachelor or Master’s degree in a relevant area
4-6 years of experience in C#/.NET with knowledge on how to work with the SOLID principles
Particularly capable hands-on experience with Angular technology and Web API
Strong skills in Microsoft SQL language
Good knowledge and experience writing and using unit tests
Hands on experience with MVC
Minimum 4 years of backend development experience with complex products
Advantage if you have insigths into DevSecOps, IBM WebSphere MQ, NET Core, Python, Databricks and other Azure technologies
Eager to work with modern technologies and processes
You have excellent communication & presentation skills
You can navigate with ease in a multi-cultural, distributed environment and actively cooperate with various stakeholders
You focus strongly on quality, and you have a personal drive to reach objectives and targets
You have a strong customer focus
Continuous improvement is your nature, and you can drive changes
Complete proficiency in English is a requirement
The availability to travel occasionally
