Application Development Support and LEAN Coach

Operational Excellence Support is a function that supports Sandvik IT Services in the areas of Operational Processes, Application Management, Application Development and Continuous Improvement. The function provides support, directives and coaching in accordance with Sandvik's IT strategy and direction, aiming for operational excellence.

We are now looking for an Application Development Support and LEAN Coach.

Key performance areas
In this role you will support Application Development teams and deliveries, in order to achieve high performance and improvement. You will provide guidance and support regarding work methods for Application Development; from when a need is identified to when a solution is available and used in production. You will also participate in implementation and maintenance of the application development processes and practices.

Furthermore, you will give support related to:
-Application Development projects
-Application Development within Application Management (AM)
-LEAN and Agile practices in the Application Development domain
-Products and tools used in the application development processes

Your profile
You hold a Bachelor of Science, or the equivalent, in Business Administration or IT, combined with several years´ experience from working within IT and have excellent knowledge within the area of Application Development. You have experience from and interest in the area of LEAN and Agile practices. You are inspired by helping others to achieve high performance and are comfortable in the role of coach, facilitator and workshop leader. Excellent communication skills in English are prerequisite.

As a person you are driven, curious and analytical. You have a positive attitude and a service mindset that is well suited to having contacts across Sandvik IT globally. It is important that you have the ability to take the initiative and co-ordinate ongoing activities. Furthermore, you should be quality conscious and strive to achieve established goals with good results. We expect that you are enthusiastic about actively participating in the function's development, and are open to change.
