Application Engineer
The Application Engineer at the SW department at Inmotion Stockholm is the go-to leader and trusted advisor for our product suite, working collaboratively and adaptively to constantly meet the needs of and to deliver value to our customers and our company. You will work with geographically distributed and diverse customers and high performing agile teams that design, develop, troubleshoot and debug embedded systems software through concept phases up to serial production and maintenance, while optimizing demands on quality, deliveries, cost and new features.
To be successful in this this role you are expected to have the ability to approach tasks in a pragmatic, methodical, and result-driven manner, and possess skills such as strong leadership, being a self-starter, having design with the future in mind as well as excellent planning and communication skills. Working as a bridge between customers and engineering your thoroughness is essential to ensure that work and information is complete as well as accurate while agreements and commitments are fulfilled. You are a person that is passionate about the opportunity to drive and develop next generations of electrified vehicles and preferably you have hands-on experience from the vehicle or automotive related field.

Essential knowledge and experience requirements:
BSc or MSc preferably in electronics, mechatronics or equivalent
Embedded development and C programming
Systems engineering and requirements management
Interest in vehicle design and hands-on experience is great plus
Automotive applications and associated development standards and requirements
Experience working with communication protocols, such as CAN
Developing safety critical systems according to e.g. ISO26262 or ISO13849-1
Working in an agile environment e.g. Scrum and Kanban
Standard tools such as Jira, Subversion, Jenkins or corresponding
Fluent English
Other language skills such as Swedish and German are beneficial
