Application Engineer - Digital IC Design

This Digital IC design and support role offers an opportunity to work on a variety of digital implementation and support activities associated with Cadence EDA tools for Logic Synthesis and Logical Equivalency Checking (LEC).
You may get involved in design services projects and/or supporting customers using Cadence tools on their projects in areas such as 5G, IOT, automotive, advanced CPU, wireless, audio, image processing, AI, machine learning etc.
You will support key customers in the use of Cadence Digital IC implementation tools, for now remotely but of course also in person at customer sites when the local rules allow for this again.
You will also provide technical support to the Cadence sales team and help identify opportunities to proliferate Cadence EDA tools.
You will be supporting proliferation of our tools through supporting customer benchmarks and evaluations.
Your role is also to provide feedback from customers to the Cadence R&D teams to help improve the Cadence EDA tools.
We are looking for people with the following experience and skills:
Education: BEng in electronic engineering or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years relevant RTL design experience using logic synthesis and equivalency checking, low power design using 1801/UPF/CPF and/or DFT
Ability to communicate effectively
Excellent problem-solving skills
Willingness to travel and work at customer sites throughout northern Europe (when local rules allow)
Languages: Fluent in English
