Lead Application Engineer
Job Description, Role and Key Responsibilities
This is an excellent opportunity to work on challenging SoC projects at advanced fin-fet process nodes for various emerging market segments.
This includes SoCs for automotive applications, hyperscaler, space and communication, and AI/ML applications.
You will run physical implementation and signoff of hierarchical blocks with a strong focus place and route.
You will identify and track technical issues faced during the execution of the project, prioritize these issues and drive their resolution.
You will work in a cross-countries team and share continuously relevant information for the success of the project.
Furthermore you will be involved in the continuous development of our digital IC design flow, propose improvements to existing design methodologies and develop new methodologies around Cadence tools & services.
Requirement, Experience, Education
Have good knowledge about digital IC implementation and tape-outs in recent technology nodes
Have a basic understanding of some design and interconnect concepts like: Interface IP (DDR, USB, PCI, Ethernet), NetworkOnChip interconnects and ports, asynchronous fifos, and similar
Have good understanding of digital IC design flows and dependencies
Have some knowledge on our SW tools: Innovus, Tempus, Voltus
Have a working knowledge of UNIX/Linux, C-shell, TCL/TK programming and scripting
Experience in one and preferably more of the following disciplines:
Floor-planning, clock tree synthesis, routing and timing convergence
STA, Design physical verification, IR drop analysis
Low Power techniques, FinFet technologies
3D-IC design
Good communication skills; Excellent team spirit
Good knowledge of French and fluent in English
Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Microelectronics, or a related discipline.
5-7 years of experience in microelectronics/EDA industry.
