About the role
ContextVision is looking for an experienced colleague to join the Application Services team in Linköping. As an Application Engineer, you will enable high-quality imaging for global medical companies within ultrasound. With your experience and deep understanding of medical image quality, you are crucial for guiding the development, as well as validating the value of internal product development. Therefore, you will be working on both internal and external projects by assisting customers, integrating and customizing their software on-site, and much more.
To be successful in this role, you will need a deep understanding of the algorithms and an attentive ear for customer needs. You’ll bridge sales and R&D, conveying customers’ aspirations and concerns back to the company. You will have the opportunity to work in an agile environment with diverse areas of expertise, with a strong commitment to achieving the company’s common goals together.
About you
We are looking for a candidate who possesses a passion for understanding the customers’ perspective with an ability to form relations and communicate with people from different disciplines and organizational levels. We are seeking individuals with a university degree at MSc level, preferably in Biomedical Engineering, with experience working as an application specialist/engineer within ultrasound.
We believe you have:
A MSc in Biomedical Engineering or equivalent
A solid background in medical image quality, especially ultrasound
Strong communication skills enabling you to transfer information between customers and development
Previous experience working in services and understanding the user
Experience working with product validation
Experience in agile methodologies, with a background in Scrum
Strong teamwork skills and ability to form relationships in different cultures
The ability to think outside the box
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, in English
