Application engineer (warranty) to Siemens Finspång

Job description
The application engineer who works within warranty shall provide an insightful knowledge of the products to the project teams and coordinate with other team member to make certain that customer’s need are fulfilled.

Responsibilities
Your main tasks will be to: 
Understand the products thoroughly and communicate with both customers and internal departments like purchase, engineering and R&D.
Make a relationship to customer and identify customer requirements, understanding the claims and investigate warranty claims
Resolve customer issues or difficulties in a manner that is consistent with company mission, values and financial objective
Translate customer requirements to project team
Formulate site plan and schedule to ensure customer’s deadlines are met
Report results and current situation to customers(investigation report, field service report, technical report, Issue Faulty Report(FR) etc.
Maintain expert level of product knowledge and application 


Working hours
This is a fulltime consultant assignment and majority of time will hopefully be done on site at our client’s office in Finspång. Remote work is applied until further notice due to current Covid-19 restrictions. Assignment will start as soon as possible after agreement and goes on approximately one year with good chances for extension.

Qualifications
What do you need to qualify for this job? 
A post-secondary education in engineering (mechanical, electrical or similar)
Good interpersonal and communication skills and used to communicate with all levels within a company 
A structured approach 
English language skills is required, other language/s is an advantage
Experience from working in project teams 
Knowledge of Siemens Gas turbine product it's an advantage.
