Application Maintenance Engineer - Gothenburg

Assignment Description:
We are looking for an Application Maintenance Engineer who is experienced in License Management, Software Asset Management, IT Governance and/or Application Management.

What you'll do:
● Performing analyses on software application functionality, suggesting improvements and Documenting processes.
● Consulting with the software development team, internal users, and clients to improve application performance.
● Managing code migration across environments to ensure continued and synchronized functionality.
● Establishing the root causes of application errors and escalating serious concerns to the Senior Engineer.
● Keeping a record of configuration changes and scheduling application updates.
Who you are:
● Advanced knowledge of front-end and back-end programming languages, such as C++, JavaScript, Python, and Ruby.
● Exceptional ability to provide front-end support to internal departments and web-based clients.
● Ability to manage code migration, document configuration changes, and monitor performance.
● Excellent communication, teamwork skills, inter-personal and Organizational skills.
● Advanced proficiency in determining the causes of application errors and repairing them and can keep up with innovation in application design.
