Application Manager

Vattenfall Eldistribution AB is responsible for the distribution of electricity to around 900,000 private and business customers in Sweden.Our principal role is to develop and maintain the power network.We are currently investing SEK 10 billion in the network to increase security of supply.We have around 800 employees in Trollhättan, Stockholm and Luleå.Application manager The IS/IT unit has overall responsibility for IS/IT in Nordic Distribution including the daily operation of our applications and developing our business with IT as the tool.The unit is also responsible for developing and realising the Nordic Distribution IT strategy along with the IS/IT project portfolio.Other areas of responsibility that fall within the unit include IT infrastructure, IT security and driving the development of a common Nordic structure within IT. Your role As application manager, you will be responsible for the Operations, Management and Development of Vattenfall Eldistribution systems.You will also be responsible for contact with our business and supplier contracts related to systems. .day to day operations and management of systems .supplier contact and ordering from suppliers .establish and driving forum where the business is represented in order to ensure a business oriented development .development plans and strategies for systems .reporting and monitoring (financial and other) .participation in projects (project manager or project team member depending on project) .participation in the development of a common model for application management at Eldistribution.About you You are a systems engineer or equivalent with application management and systems development training.You also have basic accounting and finance knowledge in budgets, forecasts and planning.IT security know-how would be an advantage. You will have documented experience in systems administration and/or systems development, and various forms of systems integration.Experience of IT development projects with different platforms and various forms of integration would be an advantage, as would experience of different application management models.Experience of chairing workshops is also desirable.You are an open and communicative individual with an extensive contact network within Distribution and the rest of Vattenfall and also with external suppliers.You are flexible and always ready to tackle different types of task within your area.You are goal-oriented with the capacity to maintain neat and tidy order.
