Application manager - outage information and work orders The IS/IT unit has overall responsibility for IS/IT in Nordic Distribution including the daily operation of our applications and developing our business with IT as the tool.The unit is also responsible for developing and realising the Nordic Distribution IT strategy defined in the IS/IT project portfolio.Other areas of responsibility that fall within the unit include IT infrastructure, IT security and driving the development of a common Nordic structure within IT. Your role As application manager, you will be responsible for steering Operations, Maintenance and Development of the applications appointed to you.This includes collaboration with the business to collect new or changing requirements on the application.You will also be responsible for contacts towards the supplier and work close together with the other employees within IS/IT due to the IT architecture.Your work will challenging and contains various tasks.In addition to the ones described above: -Planning: A maintenance plan, and a development plan need to be established for the application.These plans shall be agreed and anchored with the business, and aligned with the overall IT strategy -Development: Projects will be carried out related to the application.Your main task towards projects is to make sure projects gets and understand the requirements from maintenance perspective.You should, as well and on continuous basis, present and drive your ideas of how the application and application management can be improved.-Reporting and monitoring: The application needs to be followed-up and you are responsible for both doing and communicating the reporting.This also includes financial reporting such as budgeting and forecasting.-Application management model: A standardized application management model needs to be implemented in Nordic Distribution: You will together with your colleagues, define and implement the model.Here you can contribute with your experience The main applications you will be responsible for are: -Ark: Our application for outage reporting through web and SMS.Taylor made systems based on applications from different suppliers that are integrated to our operational systems.-Spinnet: Our work order application.Tailor made application based on Lotus Notes that supports business processes with large volumes and a large number of users, both internal and external.About you You have extensive experience as an application manager and experience from IT development projects.You are open for challenges and see opportunities for developing your skills.Your have interest in both the IT area and in understanding how business processes can be optimized.You are experienced in providing application support.As a person you are a driver and a team player.You are an open and communicative individual and you are flexible and always ready to tackle different types of tasks.We look forward to receiving your application via www.vattenfall.se/jobb no later than September 30.
