Application Manager

As Application Engineer you will be responsible for:
Uphold Group policies, guidelines, and values
Responsible to develop customer accounts together with KAM in line with account plans
Lead technical customer contacts
Work independently to map customer needs and materials for current and new business/applications. Identify development need and coordinate within Market segments and R&I
Market company products and capabilities in applicable fora
Responsible for material properties in the APQP-process
Responsible for setting the process parameters to controls the material properties and take corrective actions in case of deviating material properties
Lead customization development connected assigned customer accounts in accordance with Gränges product development model
To work with continues improvements and develop ways of working and better routines
To lead investigations in customer claims connected to material properties
To keep a commercial focus

Personality, Qualifications & Experience
We believe that you have:
At least Master of Science in appropriate subject (Ex: Metallurgy, Physics, Chemistry)
Good cooperation skills
Fluent in English, both, verbally and in writing. Swedish is a plus
Good general understanding of technology, economics, IT

Authority
Initiate projects in accordance with the customer team strategy and the Gränges Finspång R&I current prioritizations
To give directives to production regarding necessary actions to secure that the material properties are within the customer specification
To initiate UTV orders in accordance with approved business case and according to set priorities
To demand samples from production materials


The position is placed at Gränges Finspång AB, Finspång Sweden and you will report to the Manager for Product Development and Strategic Competence within Gränges Finspång AB
