Application Manager, Information Systems

Alfa Laval has built several global solutions on the MOVEX business system.One of these solutions is a global logistics system, which is currently used at four distribution centres in Asia, Europe and America, and is under implementation in four other centres.

We are looking for an Application Manager who can work close to our logistics people and assure that systems support and maintenance is on an agreed level.It will also include project management of small / medium sized projects and application management of related applications.

As a member of Alfa Laval Corporate IT in Sweden, the Application Manager reports directly to the Operations & Finance Systems Manager.

Responsibilities:

-Work closely with logistics in Sweden and Denmark to establish an agreed-to scope, budget, schedule and manage the assigned team to deliver within the established parameters

-Create and manage project plans that can deliver expected results and ensuring that any factors which will impact scope, budget, or schedule are formally presented to the steering committee with alternatives and impacts

-Participate in, and coordinate the activities of team members from cross-functional departments and multiple locations, as well as third-party systems developers

-Effectively use best practices in the application management / project management areas of integration, scope, time, cost, quality, resources, communication, and risk

-Establish a deep understanding of Alfa Laval's logistics processes and participate in the process development initiatives.

Requirements:

-4years' university degree and at least 5 years working in a multinational company

-Previous experience of ERP implementations in a multi-site/multi-national environment.

-Must possess strong interpersonal, relationship building and leadership skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.

-Very good English skills
