Are you our next Application Manager IT? We are looking for an experienced and inspiring leader to join us and support our journey to build the best performing Application Maintenance team!
Your mission
As Application Manager IT, you will lead and manage our internal and external system resources consisting of approximately 15 direct reports across the globe, as well as additional consultants. In close collaboration with the other ERP system Application Managers, as well as the Global Managers, you will drive and align global, regional and local BPCS system maintenance management.
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Assisting in negotiating and reviewing new and existing suppliers and vendors agreements.
* Following up and safeguarding Epiroc’s Maintenance Management Model plans and deliverables for the BPCS systems, as well as promoting the model in Epiroc.
* Following up and reporting of cost and financials for the BPCS system portfolio.
* Guiding and following up on projects within the scope of the maintenance management mission.
* Preparing and training the BPCS IT community for roll-in and maintenance of local and regional ERP installations.
Your profile
You must have a minimum of 3 years’ managerial experience which includes people management, budget responsibilities, project management as well as knowledge of related business processes and administration. You have a relevant university degree within the field of Technology (or the equivalent working experience) and at least 5 years’ experience within the IT industry, with good understanding of general IT processes and technical components. Great experience and knowledge in ERP systems is required, preferably BPCS or M3.
It is important that you possess solid strategic and leadership skills. To succeed in leading a global team we believe you are an analytical and collaborative person with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively create an open atmosphere that inspires growth and is welcoming new ways of thinking.
Due to the nature of the role, it is essential to have a good understanding of what it means to be working in a multinational organization. Our corporate language is English, hence excellent English communication skills both verbal and written are required.
Location and travel
The location of this position is preferably Orebro (Sweden). However, for the right candidate we are willing to discuss placement in the candidate’s current location if in any of our Epiroc IT Hubs: Prague (Czech Republic), Boksburg (South Africa), Bangalore (India), Garland (USA), Perth (Australia), Nanjing (China), Santiago (Chile), Johannesburg (South Africa). Local terms and conditions will apply, depending on the successful candidate’s current location.
Occasional travel may be required.
