All about the role:
Application Manager Product Range & Portfolio Solutions is tasked with delivering and driving key Technology projects for the Global PLM Organization with focus on product range & prod portfolio management. This includes deep involvement in the other departments within IT and Sectors globally, which is key to support our product creation process and optimization the IT landscape globally.
The candidate should be able to…
• Have IT capacity and skills to deliver and maintain Manager Product Range & Portfolio Solutions in a professional manner
• Have business process understanding and experience
• Be able to deliver through the use of and interaction with the various other Electrolux IT teams and Business user community.
• Have experience of working in a global environment.
What you'll do:
The successful candidate is expected to be able to:
• Liaise between Global PLM and other Electrolux teams, understanding priorities and requirements, to secure successful
deliveries.
• Have seniority and drive to see issues to completion in a complex environment
• Support the drive for commonality in IT to enable common data and common processes across Electrolux
Tasks include:
• Direct and manage project development from beginning to end
• Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management.
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
• Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
• Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
Who you are:
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience at a senior level within an IT or business role as the role ideally requires a combined skill set of business process knowledge and insight, as well as strong IT understanding and interest. Specifically, the candidate should have:
• Worked in implementing complex solutions on sector level across multiple site or countries
• Broad and clear understanding of functionality as well as the use of ERP, MRP, PDM and other key IT applications/tools
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or IT
The role requires significant multi-tasking, a broad business perspective and conceptual thinking to solve ambiguous problems. Candidates also need to apply substantial depth of knowledge/experience to drive change and will be comfortable acting in a role of senior change agent.
Additional requirements include:
• Solid experience of working in an international environment, preferably in complex global organizations
• Clear understanding of the importance of Master Data and how to manage
• Good knowledge of company End to End data model flow.
• Strong relationship building skills
• Ability to work through others, and accomplish set goals without formal organization
• Excellent written and spoken English language skills
• Worked in an international environment for at least 3 years
• Be an excellent team player
• Open to new concepts and ideas
• Ability to work collaboratively across project teams
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with top level executives as well as the various project teams
• Position requires in some periods an extensive amount of traveling.
