About the position
As an Application & Physics Specialist you will join a diverse and dedicated specialist group with clinical experience from different countries. The group is part of the global service organization responsible for the promotion, deployment and support of our products as well as the education of our customers.
This position is based at our headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden, and relocation will be required if you are not already in the area.
The emphasis of the position will be on working with potential and current customers to introduce them to our treatment planning system RayStation through demonstrations and training. This is done on client sites, in our training center in Stockholm, by webinars and at conferences. Some travel is required, primarily within Europe.
Another core task is creating and maintaining training materials on various formats such as PPT presentations, videos and exercises for students.
For a candidate with medical physics competence, you will also play an important role in assisting our customers during the beam commissioning process, for example by creating beam models and advising them on measurement requirements.
You will mainly work with:
• Planning, performing and documenting product trainings for customers and distributors
• Assisting and guiding customers during the beam commissioning process
• Demonstrating RaySearch products at trade shows and onsite for prospective customers
• Answering tenders and explain product functionality
• Collaborating with our development department through exploratory testing of new product versions
Your introduction

Your profile
We believe that our new Application & Physics Specialist has a great sense for service and customer support and a strong motivation to work in a highly dynamic environment. You are a social and positive person with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and enjoy presenting and teaching to bigger and smaller crowds.
Further, you can quickly adapt to new contexts and appreciate various environments as well as a variety of different tasks. You enjoy facing new challenges and solving complex problems, both independently and in collaboration with your team members. You are comfortable with working proactively, taking initiatives and have the ability to prioritize your work and adapt to sudden changes.
Experience & skills:
• Proficient in spoken and written English
• BSc or MSc degree in medical physics/dosimetry/RTT or equivalent, medical physics is meriting
• Clinical experience in radiotherapy, especially brachytherapy or proton therapy, is meriting
• Ability to travel up to 25%
• Medical device industry experience is meriting
Teaching experience and speaking multiple languages are skills that you will benefit from in your new position.

Our headquarters are at Torsplan, Hagastaden, in Stockholm’s Life Science Hub. In our newly constructed office both workplaces and social spaces are tastefully decorated.
