Use your clinical knowledge in a new environment
After working as a Radiation Therapist for 15 years in the Netherlands, Grietsje was ready for a new challenge. She knew about RaySearch since she worked with our treatment planning system RayStation in her daily work at the clinic. When a position at RaySearch opened up she saw her opportunity to continue working with cancer care. Grietsje has now been a part of RaySearch's fight against cancer for 3 years, teaching how to use and get the best out of RayStation. She enjoys the combination of teaching, support and having contact with our clinics and all other people in the field as well as being involved in the development and testing of the newest builds.
About the role
As Application Specialist you will, as well as Grietsje, join a diverse and dedicated specialist group with clinical experience from different countries, located at our head office in central Stockholm. The group is part of the global service organization with Application-, Physics- and IT Specialists in the US, Europe and Asia responsible for installation, support and education of our customers.
The emphasis of this position will be on working with potential and current customers in the Nordic region to introduce them to our treatment planning system RayStation through demonstrations and training. This is mostly done on client sites but also in our training center in Stockholm, by webinars and at conferences. You will work closely with our sales team and provide detailed product knowledge in the sales process.
The position is based in Stockholm, office presence required but with flexibility.
You will mainly work with:
• Demonstrating RaySearch products at trade shows and onsite for prospective customers
• Answering tenders and explain product functionality
• Assisting and guiding new customers during the product delivery process
• Planning, performing and documenting application demos and trainings, mostly for customers but also internal trainings
• Creating and developing long term relationships with the customers, both by remote service and onsite visits
• Collaborating with our development department through exploratory testing of new product versions
Your introduction
When starting in this position, you will get a mentor and a solid introduction to our products and ways of working. You will gradually take more responsibility and start working independently.
Your profile
We believe that our new Application Specialist has a great sense for service and customer support as well as a strong motivation to work in a highly dynamic environment. You are a social and positive person with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and enjoy presenting and teaching to both bigger and smaller crowds.
Further, you can quickly adapt to new contexts and appreciate various environments as well as a variety of different tasks. You enjoy facing new challenges and solving complex problems, both independently and in collaboration with your team members. You are comfortable with working proactively, taking initiatives and have the ability to prioritize your work and adapt to sudden changes.
Experience & skills:
• BSc or MSc degree in medical physics/dosimetry/RTT or equivalent
• Very good knowledge in English
• Ability to travel up to 25%
It is meriting if you have experience from medical device industry, teaching skills and Swedish/Norwegian/Finnish language skills. Clinical experience in radiotherapy is strongly meriting.
