Application Specialist for Parting and Grooving

In product management we have Product Managers and Application Specialists. We work in teams where the Application Specialist is responsible for product and application support, new product needs and application development, and the Product Manager is responsible for product assortment, profitability, strategies and trends.

Key performance areas
As an Application Specialist you will support the organization and market with product and application knowledge, e.g. through training sessions, and be involved in the introduction of new products. You will need a good technical understanding of our products and applications. The work is conducted in a global network and in key markets in order to develop knowledge about the products' application areas, understand customer needs, gather market requirements and forecast future trends.

You will cooperate closely with the Product Manager, Product Development, subsidiaries and customers.

Your profile
You have a degree in engineering or professional experience in machining and manufacturing. We expect you to have genuine technical understanding and a strong business interest, in order to ensure a competitive and profitable product offering for Coromant. We place great importance on your personality and previous experience in the field. The position involves a number of international contacts and some business travel. Therefore, fluent spoken and written English is a requirement.

As a person you are self-motivated, with well-developed communication and interpersonal skills. You are creative and open to change, with the ability to share your knowledge with others and to prioritize tasks.
