Description

The client is looking for a senior engineer with extensive knowledge within the GCP platform.

- Development of high-quality software design and architecture

- Development of high-quality software code which has been tested and is ready to be shipped, applying and using good practices and agreed standards

- Work in agile teams, contributing to the development and maintenance of products and solutions

- Provide experience, and guide other team members, in how to utilize GCP tools and features out of the box to create cost efficient solutions

Mandatory competence and experience:

- You should have been working with setting up services in GCP and have the skillset to drive best practice within this area
- Knowledge of software engineering principles
- Knowledge of software engineering practices including test automation, DevOps, code versioning, with knowledge and experience of using best practice standard toolsets.
- Knowledge of sharing and securing data through different interfaces
- Knowledge of relevant cloud services.
- Experience of working in agile/iterative software development teams, including delivery to agreed commitments.
- Experience in agile development practices, in which requirements and solutions evolve through the collaborative effort of self-organizing cross functional teams.
- Previous experience of designing, setting up and optimizing data flows- Knowledge of design and architecture concepts and ability to apply knowledge within the development cycle
