Working with the best Automation Solutions for a variety of industries within our new formed Nordic organization, as Application Support Engineer you will configure and maintain configurations and applications in Emerson distributed control systems. Also, you will be responsible for performing startup and commissioning support for systems and small applications.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
· Implement the configuration and application changes after having evaluated potential impact and risks
· Implement and document system service projects, support customers project organization
· Troubleshoot Distributed Control System (DCS) application failures/problems
· Support projects Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT)
· Perform system installations
· Perform service desk support for applications and configurations (both internal and external)
· Focus on safety and health to ensure continuous improvement
FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED:
· Degree in engineering or degree in control & process automation or any similar field
· Minimum 3 years of experience within relevant process industry in application support engineering
· DeltaV Product and Application knowledge is an advantage
· Process knowledge and site hands on experiences is an advantage
· Computer literate
· Fluent English level (written and spoken) is mandatory while fluent Swedish is preferred
· Driver’s license for car is mandatory
· Willingness to travel within Sweden or in other Nordic countries if needed
