Application Tester - Remote

Assignment Description:
We are looking for an experienced Application Tester to join our team.
What you will work on:
Collaborate with the Development team and a major client’s IT team on site for testing activities.
Plan, monitor, control, and report on testing progress, metrics, and outcomes.
Create comprehensive test cases to ensure high coverage of requirements and acceptance criteria.
Develop and maintain test data, test conditions, and execute test cases.
Identify and report bugs and errors to the development team, assisting in issue investigation.
Build and maintain automated and performance test cases.
Configure and manage test environments to support testing efforts.

What you bring:
Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field with a minimum of 3 years of practical experience, or equivalent practical experience of at least 4 years without a university degree.
3 years of professional experience as an Application Tester or in a similar software testing role.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in information systems testing.
Proficient in documenting defects and producing clear test documentation.
Strong understanding of testing methodologies, planning, monitoring, control, and reporting.
Skilled in setting up and maintaining test environments and creating tests from requirements.
Familiarity with work item management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, TFS, Jira).
Experience with Continuous Integration Principles and pipelines.
Knowledge of industry-standard testing technologies, tools, and methodologies.
Familiarity with Unified Modeling Language (UML).
Understanding of relevant technologies such as .Net, SharePoint, Dynamics 365, MSSQL, GIS, Instant Atlas, Qlik Sense, Docker, Microsoft 365, Azure, and/or ADFS, Powershell (considered an asset).
ISTQB Foundation Level certification or equivalent.
