Our European photon counting X-ray experts, Direct Conversion are looking for a new Application Systems Engineer for our office in Danderyd to support our field application team in our daily work with photon counting X-ray detectors.
As an Application Systems Engineer, you work at the interface between the customers, our R&D department, and the Sales and Marketing teams. Your task is to identify trends in X-ray inspection and connected technologies, map customer needs and understand the challenges they are facing. An essential part of the work is turning these into solutions such as viable products or projects. You will work closely with customers in different fields and industries to improve and optimize existing X-ray inspection tasks and create additional value by bringing new and exciting technologies into daily use. As a global company, our customers and teams are multinational.

Your profile...
you have a strong hands-on background in X-ray imaging technologies,
you are comfortable discussing complex technical details with professionals and early adopters,
you are fluent in English,
you have a suitable university-level technical degree,
you can work focused and self-determined on complex tasks,
you have good computer skills, preferably with programming experience,
you are willing to travel regularly,
you have good communication skills in written and oral form.
