Placement: Kista
In the ongoing Digitalization and Optimization Journey, one potential application concept have been suggested by the Physics Modelling & Calculation team at Munters: “Dynamic Artificial Intelligence (AI) control optimization and innovation”. Significantly improving dynamic control performance and a concept where the machine will self-optimize its control system to match the dynamics of its environment. As a part of realizing the “Dynamic AI control optimization and innovation” the PMC team needs to recruit specialists in the field of Applied and computational Mathematics.

The work assignment
There are three main purposes for the position:
Design and develop procedures to optimize control parameters in real time to enable self-learning systems.
Optimize rotor prediction performance calculations based on Big Data from our customers’ sites.
Together with the AI Software Engineer identify new integrated control systems and strategies to various customer categories and machine models.
Principal tasks: Using Mathematical and optimization algorithms to develop:
1. New control systems in real time
a) energy performance (minimize energy use)
b) dehumidification/humidification performance
c) control stability (especially for dry rooms/low dew point applications
2. Overall system optimization (energy, sustainability or performance purposes) for the integrated systems of core components + heat exchangers, pre-heaters or heat pumps.
3. Dynamic modelling of customer air spaces to connect the machine outlet dynamics and control system to the air space climate control.
