Applied Statistical Analyst within Systems Engineering

The role of the System Validation team within the Development & Engineering/Packaging Material organization is to prove that projects develop the system according to requirements and to demonstrate that we meet the requirements.Our systems are used for mass production of packaging materials across the globe working 24 hours 7 days a week so advanced statistical methods are essential for validating satisfaction of requirements.
We are now looking for an Engineer with a deep know-how in Applied Statistical Analysis and good coaching skills.The position is based in Lund, Sweden.
Main responsibilities
-Lead and conduct statistical analyses
-Coach engineers in statistical analysis procedures, methods and tools
-Support Systems Engineering activities in context of development projects
-Contribute to the general know-how build-up within applied statistical analysis
Kvalifikationer
To be successful in this role you have deep knowledge of applied statistical analysis methods and tools combined with practical hands-on engineering experience.Preferably you have work experience from process, pharmaceutical or other mature industries within the area of development and/or product validation or quality assurance.Your educational background includes a M.Sc.university degree in Engineering, Statistical mathematics or equivalent and you are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
As a person you are intellectually curious and possess great listening, documenting and communication skills which you have used successfully on all levels.You have the ability to see the integrated picture without losing the fine detail.We need a strong team player who can also lead when necessary, and has a strong continous improvement attitude.You should also have personal drive and the ability to operate with uncertainty and complexity.
